A lot of people say that scars are sexy. While the story behind the scar can be an adventurous and great
story to hear around the campfire or amongst friends, the scars themselves can be quite annoying to the
eye and even ugly in some cases. Of course, there is no way to make a scar disappear from your body
completely, but there are a lot of creams and treatments out there designed to make your scars look a lot
less noticeable. Revitol scar cream is one of these creams that makes these claims and in this Revitol
scar cream review we’ll take a look at the product and see if it lives up to the hype.

One of the things that I like about Revitol is the fact that it is an all natural product. Too often you get
a lot of these companies out there promoting something as “natural” when in reality it is a formula that
someone has cooked up in a laboratory filled with scientists that is designed to be very cheap and
somewhat effective. Thankfully Revitol has decided to take the all natural route with their product which
is a refreshing change of pace for a company in the scar cream business.

I have seen some good looking before and after pictures of people who have used Revitol in the past to
deal with their scars, but I haven’t seen any more recent pictures. I’m not sure what this means for the
brand but I know that at least some people have seen some success with this scar cream. Most of the
results I have seen show people with reasonably mild scarring before going on Revitol and afterwards
their scars and barely noticeable. I’d be interested to see how Revitol scar cream matches up against the
more serious scars that most people are desperately trying to get rid of.

The problem with the bigger scars is that they are much more noticeable to start, but they are also more
prone to be discolored and feel like a scar when you run your fingers over them. The worst types are
the ones that appear dark red or purplish as opposed to a more mature scar that has healed nicely and
appears just slightly lighter than your normal skin tone. This is the effect that I’m hoping Revitol would
have on the more serious scars, but there is just not enough evidence that suggests that this is actually
the case. I think that there needs to be more reviews and research done about Revitol scar cream before
I could be fully comfortable recommending it to family or friends. That being said, if you still want to give it
a shot then go right ahead. Just make sure to let me know your results!

Stretch marks are a blight upon our skin that can make us feel self-conscious and ashamed of our body.
Some people even feel like they are ugly as soon as they see they have a few stretch marks on their
body. The important thing to realize before you even let these thoughts creep into your brain is that
stretch marks are a natural process that happens to almost everyone on this Earth, and that they are not
that big of a deal. That being said, there are a lot of ways to lessen the appearance and texture of the
stretch marks that you already do have. Let’s take a look at Bio Oil for stretch marks to see if it’s a good
product.

So, does bio oil work on stretch marks? Before we get into that, let’s discuss what stretch marks actually
are. Basically, your skin has more than one layer to it. The epidermis is the very first layer – the one
exposed to the air. When you go through any major body composition change in your life, you can
potentially stretch your skin to the point where it actually creates microtears in the tissue and scar tissue
begins to form. This is exactly what a stretch mark is. People most typically get them when they’re going
through adolescence or pregnancy, though people have been known to get stretch marks solely because
they have gained weight and stressed their skin to a point where it cannot return. I have actually seen
cases where bodybuilders have grown their muscles so large that stretch marks have appeared in some
very unconventional areas.

The reason that stretch marks cannot ever be truly removed from your body is because of the nature of
how they are formed. The epidermis layer of your skin literally tears itself when you get a stretch mark
and there is no way to completely rehabilitate those skin cells to their prior state. It is simply impossible.
However, some of the side effects of stretch marks which are the bad discoloration on particularly bad
ones, or the “missing” texture of your skin can be alleviated with a variety of treatments.

I have quite a few stretch marks myself as a result of a growth spurt and while they do make me feel
self conscious at times, I tend not to worry about them as much as I did in the past. Part of this is due to

understanding more about exactly what they are and how they are caused, and the rest is learning about
some of the home remedies and creams that can really help to make them so much less noticeable. So,
don’t worry! It’s not the end of the world if you notice that you’re getting some stretch marks in sensitive
areas. Almost everyone has them and almost everyone feels the same exact way! You’re not alone in
your dislike of your stretch marks – acceptance and treatment is the best course, and I’ll show you exactly
how to do that with my exclusive reviews and treatment articles.

There has been a lot of talk about Revitol stretch mark cream and how effective it actually is for treating
stretch marks on all areas of the body. With all of the different types of creams out on the market, it can
be hard to sort through which ones are scams and which ones actually provide some good results for
the people who need it. In this Revitol stretch mark cream review you’ll find out all of the information you
need to make an informed decision on whether Revitol is the right product for you.

If there is one thing I hate in the skincare business, it is outright lies and falsehoods. There are
simply way too many people with serious, legitimate skincare issues that affect their self-esteem and
appearance to prey on them with the false promises that a product will “cure” them of all of their problems
in just a matter of days. Thankfully, Revitol is not a company that actually promises to completely remove

and cure any of your stretch marks. Instead, they say that their product “Decreases the appearance of
stretch marks.” If there’s one thing that is accurate, it is this. Revitol truly does decrease the appearance
of stretch marks – but there’s another important piece to the puzzle.

Appearance is just one half of the problem with stretch marks. The other problem is the change in
the texture of your skin in any area where you are affected. When you run your hand over your skin,
you’ll feel that it is uneven and feels almost like ripples are running across your skin. This is the biggest
complaint next to appearance that I hear about stretch marks and Revitol unfortunately doesn’t address
this very well. I have not heard many positive reviews of Revitol’s ability to treat the texture and quality
of your skin. The better creams on the market actually are able to lessen this rippled feeling on your skin
and give you back some of that smoothness that you lost so long ago.

So I would recommend Revitol for someone who is looking for a product that will treat the coloration
problems they have with their stretch marks. If they’re looking to get rid of the dark red color that is a
telltale sign of a serious stretch mark problem and they have tried other products that have failed them,
Revitol may be worth trying for this fact alone.

If you are someone who wants the full package – color and texture – then I would advise you read a few
of my other reviews of products that are better at treating these issues at the same time. There are so
many creams on the market it can be hard to actually sort through all of these, which is why I have tried to
make it much easier for you with all of my reviews. Good luck!

As if having a child wasn’t hard enough already, mother nature has seen fit to cause women to gain quite
a bit of weight during their pregnancy. Of course, a lot of this weight is due to the baby itself and the fat
that a mother needs to nourish the child and herself, but a lot of the weight is also extra dead weight that
is unnecessary. However, a mother’s body has a hard time NOT putting it on and causing a whole host
of other conditions and problems down the road.

One of the cruelest tricks that nature plays on our skin is the formation of stretch marks. Unfortunately
with the increase in weight and stretching of the skin in unusual areas, many women develop stretch
marks all across their belly, breasts, hips and thighs when they are pregnant. What a mean trick! Why,
when mothers are going through so much already to produce a healthy and happy baby would this
happen? Well, unfortunately it is just the way that our skin works. Once it’s stretched to its breaking point
it will tear and form scar tissue that can cause discoloration and a loss of the smoothness in the skin.

Pregnancy stretch marks can be some of the worst ones that form because of the amount of stretching
that goes on in the skin as a baby grows. How to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy is a hot topic,
and I’ve got some tips for you if you are a newly pregnant mother or a couple months into your pregnancy
already.

The first thing is that you absolutely need to have a great moisturizing cream and stretch mark prevention
cream and use it every single day throughout your pregnancy. Increasing the elasticity of your skin is the
best way to prevent stretch marks in general, because the more elastic your skin is the higher tolerance it
has for stretching before it tears and creates a stretch mark. The use of these creams can eliminate most
of the risk for stretch marks even throughout a pregnancy of twins or more! It’s really shocking how well
your skin can adapt and increase its elasticity despite the strain that it is under.

Lastly, you should be making sure that you don’t gain any more weight than you absolutely have to.
Moisturizing creams go far, but you can’t do much about stretch marks during pregnancy if you are
putting on a ton of weight that you don’t need to. Try and think about your diet and if you are putting on
weight simply because you are pregnant or if you are putting it on because you think you have a license
to eat whatever you want due to the pregnancy. Avoid the latter and you will minimize the risk of creating
stretch marks.

Whatever you do, don’t stretch your skin out more than you have to! This means not rubbing and playing
with your belly while you’re pregnant because it can definitely be a huge cause of belly stretch marks.

Let’s talk about stretch marks and how to get rid of them at home. There are quite a few home remedies for stretch marks – you just have to do the digging to find them! Fortunately for you, I’ve done all of the research, as well as tested them all on myself and friends that I know. We have discovered that there are quite a few remedies and techniques that you can use from the comfort of your own home to treat and lessen the appearance of your stretch marks by a good deal. Now, when I say “treat” I don’t mean cure. It’s important to make that distinction, because the last thing I want to do is put a false notion in your head that simply using a few home remedies will cure you of all of your stretch marks and leave your skin as beautiful as it was when you were born. That would be misleading. These remedies will definitely improve your stretch marks though, so read on and find out what to do!

The first technique that I’ve tested is using aloe vera that you have laying around the house to treat your stretch marks. Aloe vera is an all natural product that comes directly from the aloe plant. This slightly sticky gel is a natural moistener and firmer, so applying it to your stretch marks will do a world of good for both the elasticity of your skin and the quality of the skin cells that have been affected by the stretch mark. Rub it on your skin twice daily in the affected areas and check the results in a few weeks. I personally found that this did a decent job at smoothening my skin, but it didn’t do much for the overall appearance of my stretch marks, which I care more about.

Another thing that basically everyone has in their home is Vaseline. Now, most people have the common type of Vaseline which is just the standard product. For particularly nasty stretch marks you might need to look at the intensive care type of Vaseline. It has more active ingredients and has been formulated to actually do more for your skin than the regular product. Like the aloe vera, apply this twice daily to your stretch marks and make sure to rub it in well. Also, make sure to use it on dry skin as the Vaseline and water do not mix well at all and you may not get any on your skin if you do it right after you hop out of the shower.

One of the last things you should be doing to treat stretch marks – and honestly you should be doing this as a general part of life – is exercise. Exercising makes sure that your skin is draped over a functional body that is lean and healthy, and when you lose a bit of extra fat your skin tightens up and all of your stretch marks appear to be less obvious to the eye.

As women, we have to deal with a lot of skincare issues that simply don’t affect men at all. During both adolescence and pregnancy, we are at our highest risk for developing stretch marks all across our bodies, but especially in our most sensitive areas: our butt, thighs and breasts. I can understand the desire to “do anything” to solve the problem, because these are some of the areas that we as women can be the most self conscious about. We want to look good, and if we have discolored stretch marks riddling our breasts it can be hard to feel confident and sexy in your skin.

There are a few things to do when you first notice yourself getting stretch marks on your breasts. The very first thing is to make sure that you’re using a good moisturizer for your skin, especially in your chest area. One of the causes of stretch marks is a loss of elasticity in the skin, which can be supplemented with a really great moisturizing cream. This will help to make sure your skin builds up enough elastin, a protein that basically is responsible for how elastic your skin is. All that elastin makes sure that every time your skin is stretched it returns to its natural state without any damage.
The next thing to think about is your life situation. If you’re pregnant and that’s what’s causing your sudden increase in stretch marks, then there’s not much you can do besides use a really great moisturizing cream as well as a stretch mark therapy cream to prevent as many stretchmarks as possible. If you’re gaining weight, then the best way to make sure you don’t get any stretch marks is simply to change up your diet and exercise so you’re not putting on as many pounds. This prevents the skin from being stretched by all of the extra fat in your body. Not only will it help you in preventing stretch marks, you’ll probably find that you’re a happier, healthier person overall with a better outlook on life. That’s enough of my personal fitness rant though – back to the issue at hand!

As I’ve said, stretch marks on your breasts are absolutely devastating if you already have them, but that’s just one way to look at it. With continued moisturizing and application of a very high quality stretch mark cream, you will slowly start to see them fade back to the same tone as your normal skin. Over time, the texture will start to smoothen out so when you run your fingers over your skin, you will barely be able to notice the stretch marks.

Palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks is probably the most iconic and “famous” product in the cocoa butter stretch marks class of skincare creams. I say this simply because they have the biggest name by far in the skincare world, and their cocoa butter cream is the cheapest and most prevalent on the market. If it’s the cheapest and most prevalent, does that mean it’s the best? I’ll be covering the ups and downs of the Palmers stretch marks product line in this review.

The main question to ask here is: Does cocoa butter remove stretch marks? If it doesn’t then you don’t need to consider buying Palmers. First, let’s look at the product itself. The first place I go to when I want to check what people think of a stretch mark product is Amazon. I look at the star rating that any product has and then take a look at what the manufacturer has to say about what their product will do for you. If I like what I see, I’ll buy a bottle to test it out for myself and share with friends, children and relatives. If it passes THAT test, then I’ll feel comfortable recommending it to other people that I know.

With regard to Palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks, there’s no doubt about it – at $4.50, it’s the cheapest product on the market. However, there are only three stars on numerous online shopping sites which brings up a huge red flag for me. I personally will not try anything with less than four stars so right off the bat we know that there’s something wrong with this product.
Looking at the ingredient list is a bit telling. The first ingredient is water, meaning you’re basically looking at water with a few active ingredients mixed in. Other creams feature something besides water as the main ingredient, making me think that they are more effectively using these active ingredients to produce a better result for you and your stretch marks. My feeling is that because it is so ridiculously cheap, Palmers decided to cheapen the cost to make the product by adding a lot of water to the mixture. This basically just dilutes the solution down so you’re really not getting the power you need in this product.

I’ve talked with some trusted friends and family who suffer from stretch marks and they’ve all said that while Palmers was the first product they tried to help improve the appearance of their stretch marks, they quickly realized it wasn’t very effective and moved on to trying more expensive, but also more potent products. This is something to keep in mind whenever you’re looking at a new stretch mark product. Often times both the most expensive products on the market and the cheapest ones on the market both are less effective than something priced more in the midrange. At the low end, you suffer from low quality ingredients. At the high end, you suffer from ridiculously overpriced and fancy ingredients that do as much, so there’s just no way to justify that higher cost. In the middle, you get a fair price for a fair amount of ingredients that are designed to actually produce the results that they promise in their packaging and advertisement.

There has been a lot of chatter in the skincare scene over the past five years or so about a product called Bio Oil. With a name like that you would assume it’s quite great, helping you to heal your skin with a natural, “biological” oil. Well, I’m here to tell you today that Bio Oil might be the worst stretch mark treatment product on the market. This bio oil review will dispel all of the talk about Bio Oil and break it down for what it really is: an ineffective product.

The first thing to notice about Bio Oil is the price. You might say, “But a bottle is only $8.99!” How could that possibly be overpriced?” Well, this is where you need to take a look at something other than the price: the amount of product. Bio Oil is ridiculously overpriced for the amount of product that they give you, which is a measly two ounces. And that’s just their cheapest version of their product. Another two ounce bottle of the stuff costs $17.99, and I can’t even tell what the major difference is between the two. Anytime you’re getting this little product for that much money, you need to do a double take and make sure that the company actually has your best interests at heart.

Another problem that people have had with Bio Oil is the fact that the company does not like to honor returns. It seems like they must know that they have created an ineffective product and that people will likely return it after seeing no results at all. It’s not a great sign when you hear even one complaint like this, because it means that the company is likely to be selling a bad product.
On to the product itself. After hearing some reviews from my personal friends and using this on my own stretch marks in my abdomen area, I can say that this is one of the worst products for treating stretch marks that I have personally tested – and I have tested a lot. They use a lot of fancy terminology (more so than other stretch mark cream companies) but it basically just boils down to the fact that they use around the same ingredients as most of the rest of the stretch mark creams, but charge you more for it. In addition, the fact that it is oil-based makes it kind of slimy on the skin. Definitely doesn’t feel good when you rub it into your affected areas. I would be able to put up with that if it worked really well, but the sad truth is that it doesn’t. I noticed less improvement in both appearance and smoothness compared to every other stretch mark cream that I have ever used on myself. My friends agreed with me, and they have as many stretch marks as I do due to multiple pregnancies. Bottom line: I wouldn’t try Bio Oil if you’re looking to actually treat and reduce the appearance of your stretch marks.

Mederma is a skin care line that has been on the market for quite some time now, offering products both for stretch mark problems as well as scars. There are a lot of similarities between scars and stretch marks, because they both refer to a tearing or abrasion of the skin. Scars are a bit more serious in that usually the injury involved breaking the skin, whereas stretch marks are damage caused without breaking the skin. Nevertheless, both of these afflictions are terrible and Mederma stretch mark therapy and scar therapy have set out to help you solve them, once and for all.

The first thing I’ll mention in this series of Mederma reviews is the fact that they advertise themselves as the number one doctor and pharmacist recommended product for stretch marks and scars. I’m always a bit skeptical when I hear claims like these, because they can be said by just about anyone without actually providing any proof at all. I can’t say whether their claim is actually true or not, because it looks as if they have gone to great trouble to conceal the way they got that data. Regardless, keep this in mind when you’re looking at a Mederma product, or any other brand of stretch mark or scar creams.

The one interesting thing that the Mederma product for scars has is that it is a very nonintrusive application that is just about as easy as it gets when it comes to scar and stretch mark products. It’s a gel that you simply rub into the affected area a few times a day. Another thing that I particularly do like about Mederma is that, unlike other stretch mark creams, they don’t say that their product will “eliminate” your stretch marks. They say that it will soften, smooth, and reduce the appearance of any scars and stretch marks. I like this particular fact about the company, just because so many marketing departments of these stretch mark creams have decided to sell dreams and not reality. It’s just a bit frustrating to hear the stories of my friends who think that all of their problems are solved only to find that their stretch marks are still there. They might be less obvious and their skin might be more smooth, but the stretch marks are still there and this discourages them a little because the product claimed to eliminate them.

Mederma stretch mark therapy includes a lot of unique and organic ingredients in their creams, including onion bulb extract as well as many other plant-based materials that have been proven to reduce the appearance of any skin blemishes, but most importantly stretch marks and scars. At least in my social circle, I have found that most of the people that have used Mederma have definitely seen their stretch marks improve visually, but many say that they still remain rough and uneven to the touch. So, feel free to give Mederma a shot or look for a more unique product out there that’s a bit more suited towards your needs.

I have to admit that I couldn’t wait to review Skinception. I thought, “With a name like that, how could their product be bad?” Well, you’re going to learn that names can be misleading, and that a lot of the stretch mark cream marketing tactics are often simply false. In this Skinception review you’ll find that sadly, Skinception is a cream that falls prey to these common industry issues.

The worst times for stretch marks are during pregnancy, puberty, or any period of your life where you experience a weight gain. This causes your skin to stretch out and sometimes tear at the top layer. The tear is exactly what a stretch mark is. Typically, you get discoloration and a different type of texture in the area of the tear. People describe it almost as if that first layer has lost all elasticity – and that’s exactly what happened.

So, what does Skinception promise that’s simply not true? They claim that your skin can be healed through their product…completely. When you have a tear in the epidermis like this, unfortunately there is no way to bring the skin back to the pre-tear quality, but you can do quite a bit to reduce the discoloration of the skin as much as possible. In the worst cases, stretch marks can have a very dark purple color that looks absolutely terrible on any skin tone. So, based on just this knowledge alone it’s pretty clear that there is no way to fully heal your skin back to the way it was before any damage was done. The best you can hope for in this scenario is a reduction in the pigmentation of the skin. Most of the time you will also be able to add firmness back to the skin that is affected by stretch marks, which great for restoring that smooth skin feeling of normal, healthy skin.

The biggest problem with Skinception is that they claim to “fade and even erase unsightly stretch marks…” This is where their advertising takes a turn for the worse. There’s just simply no way to COMPLETELY remove stretch marks from existence. It’s important that you remember this fact when you look at Skinception products as well as other types of stretch mark and scar creams that you’re hoping will solve all of your problems. It’s just not possible. There are a lot of great creams out there for reducing the appearance and increasing the smoothness of skin that is affected by stretch marks, so keep your eye out for future reviews where I’ll be looking into these in more detail. For now, just stay clear of Skinception and you should be fine. There’s no point spending money on a produce that is misleading and won’t give you everything that you want when it comes to your skin care.
